Yogyakarta (11/12) - Sharia Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI), UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held the second CEO Talk series. The event was attended by Mr. Roy Renwarin and Mr. Fahmy Akbar Idris with the theme "Waqf for Strengthening the Economy and Strengthening Sharia, the Function of Cash Waqf as a Perpetual Asset for Islamic Economics and Finance in Indonesia.

The event was chaired by M Zein Dedy as moderator and opened by Dr. Abdul Qoyum, S.E.I., M.Sc.Fin., as Head of the Sharia Economics Department, then continued with the delivery of material by Mr. Roy Renwarin as the first speaker.

The event continued with the delivery of material by Mr. Fahmy Akbar Idris as the second speaker. In his presentation, he conveyed that the importance of practice after understanding the material about waqf.

According to M. Zein Dedy as a student of Islamic economics, it is hoped that students can become one of the drivers for Islamic economics as well as waqf in Indonesia.
