Stages of Thesis Title Submission
1. Ensure that you have taken the thesis course in the Study Plan Card (KRS).
2. Consult the proposed thesis title with the Academic Advisor (DPA) and obtain approval.
3. Submit the thesis title approved by the DPA to the Head of Study Program by filling out the link: Thesis Title Submission Registration Form
4. Notify the Head of Study Program (Dr. Abdul Qoyum, S.E.I., M.Sc.Fin. : WhatsApp Number: 081227919377) that you have filled out the Thesis Title Submission Registration Form.
5. The Head of Study Program will review and either approve or revise the submitted title, and assign a Thesis Supervisor (DPS). Subsequently, the Head of Study Program will forward the Thesis Title and DPS Name to the FEBI Staff to generate a Letter of Appointment for the DPS.
6. The standard processing time at the Islamic Economics Study Program is 5 working days. Students may inquire about the status of the Letter of Appointment for the DPS from the FEBI Staff (Mr. Habib : WhatsApp Number: 085722694992) after 5 working days.
7. Upon completion of the Letter of Appointment for the DPS, students can promptly commence thesis guidance with the assigned DPS.
Munaqosah Exam Registration
Stages of the Munaqosah Exam
1. The thesis must pass the Turnitin test with a 25% similarity index and be approved by the Thesis Supervisor (DPS) and the Study Program Head has decided that the thesis is eligible for munaqosah.
2. Students are required to complete their registration online for the Comprehensive Exam (SKPI) and munaqosyah on the Academic Information System (https://akademik.uin-suka.ac.id).
3. Ensure that the student has prepared the following requirements:
The requirements for the Thesis Manuscript include a Turnitin test report showing the originality of the content, a Title Page, Validation Page, Abstract, Bibliography, and Appendices.
Prepare the complete thesis manuscript file along with the approval from the Thesis Supervisor (DPS) and the Turnitin test results (applicable for the 2016 batch and later). Subsequently, merge these files into a single RAR archive with a maximum size of 100MB.
· Administrative Requirements:
a. Valid Student Identity Card (KTM).
b. Latest signed and stamped Cumulative Study Result (KRS and KHS).
c. Community Service Program (KKN) Certificate.
d. Learning Socialization (SAIPEM) Certificate.
e. ICT Certificate with a minimum grade of “B" (if available).
f. A minimum TOEIC/TOEFL score of 400 and/or IKLA/TOAFL score of 400 is required. Specifically for the 2016 batch and onwards, a minimum TOEC/TOEFL score and/or IKLA/TOAFL score of 450 is required. (Both certificates should be attached, even if the student passes only one).
g. Bridging Course Certificate with a score of 450 for English & 350 for Arabic (if available, for the 2016 batch and onwards).
h. Practicum Certificate (for the 2016 batch and onwards).
i. Latest Diploma.
j. 3x4 Color Photos (4 pieces) with a maroon red background, wearing plain black suit, plain black tie, plain white shirt, no glasses/soft lenses/other accessories, relaxed smile with teeth not visible. Female students should wear plain black hijab.
k. Original-stamped Statement of Wearing a Hijab (for female students).
l. Original-stamped Statement of Thesis Authenticity.
m. Proof of Proposal Seminar.
n. Proof of attending the Proposal Seminar more than twice.
o. Proof of being a Proposal Seminar Discussant more than twice.
p. Proof of Thesis Supervision.
q. Proof of Thesis Approval from the Supervisor.
r. Thesis Cover that has been approved by the DPS and Study Program Head.
s. Abstract of the Thesis (in Indonesian/English).
t. Summary of the Thesis presentation.
u. Proof of passing Turnitin with a maximum of 25% similarity (for the 2016 batch and onwards).
v. Have registered for munaqasyah online through the SIA page (https://akademik.uin-suka.ac.id).
Prepare requirement files from point (a) to point (u) and convert these files into one RAR file with a maximum size of 100mb.
4. Register for Munaqosah and upload two RAR files as required above through the link: Munaqosah Exam Registration Form
5. Confirm to the FEBI Staff (Mr. Habib: WhatsApp Number: 085722694992) that you have completed the Munaqosah Exam Registration Form. Additionally, confirm to the Study Program Head (Dr. Abdul Qoyum, S.E.I., M.Sc.Fin.: WhatsApp Number: 085225518561) or Vice Study Program Head (Lailatis Syarifah, Lc., M.A.: ) that you have completed the Munaqosah Exam Registration Form and would like to obtain the names of the examiners.
6. After obtaining the names of the examiners from the Study Program Head or Vice Study Program Head, the student confirms to the FEBI Staff (Mas Habib: WhatsApp Number: 085722694992) by informing him of the examiners' names. The FEBI Staff will contact the Thesis Advisor and the Examiners to determine the time (day, date, and time) of the munaqosah exam and prepare the Minutes of Meeting as well as communicate the technical implementation of the munaqosah exam.
7. The standard processing time for the munaqosah exam at the Islamic Study Program is 5 working days. After this period, students may inquire about the specific time (day, date, and time) of the munaqosah exam to the FEBI Staff (Mas Habib: WhatsApp Number: 085722694992).
8. Students are prepared for the Munaqosah Exam.
