Description The aim of learning Fiqh is to understand and apply Islamic laws in everyday life. Fiqh discusses various aspects of worship, muamalah, morals, and other social issues based on sources of Islamic law (Al-Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma', and Qiyas). Meanwhile, Ushul Fiqh is to understand and master the methods and rules for exploring Islamic law from its sources systematically and rationally. Students are expected to be able to understand the basics of Islamic legal thought, such as the interpretation of legal verses, the development of ijtihad, as well as the principles governing the istinbat (legal withdrawal) process.
