Yogyakarta (27/11) - The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga warmly welcomed the visit of Professors from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Prof. Dr. Hassanudin Mohd Thas Taker (Malaysia), and UCSI University Malaysia, Prof. Hosen Mosharraf (Bangladesh) on Thursday, November 27, 2023. During their visit, both professors actively participated in several forums at FEBI.

They commenced by delivering a guest lecture at the FEBI theater on the fifth floor. The agenda centered on the "Current Issues of Islamic Economics and Business," featuring case studies from Malaysia and was attended by FEBI students. Subsequently, they conducted a "Research Sharing for FEBI Lecturers" session, mandatory for FEBI lecturers.

During this visit, Prof. Dr. Hassanudin Mohd Thas Taker also seized the opportunity to teach in the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) for the Islamic Economics study program. It is hoped that this will offer students new perspectives on Islamic economics from an international standpoint.
